What happened in B.C?
The English invaded the native land of the aboriginal people (we now call that land Canada) and they had invaded that land because they thought everything was theirs and then they started sending them to residential schools to assimilate them, but that was only after they took part in a "war".

Tell me about Aboriginal Culture
Aboriginal people were peaceful people that only killed animals for food and used all of the supplies and didn't waste anything. Some of the aboriginal people participated in circles which was a way of talking to each other so that everyone`s needs could be met kind of

What were residential schools
Residenial schools are boarding schools that the English made to assimilate aboriginal people to the English/Cristian culture.

What happend to families.
In most of the residential schools children were able to go home for the summer, but in some of them children wern't able to go back home intil they finished school.
Whoes land are we on.
We are on the land of the Coast Salish people of British Columbia.
